Dock installation wheels can help you move your dock easily over any terrain. Depending on where you live and where you enjoy water sports, you may need to think about placing your boat dock on land during the winter months. Some ponds and lakes freeze solid during the winter, and this can take a toll on your dock. Moving your dock into storage for the winter can extend its usability by preventing weather damage.
But how can you move something as big and bulky as a dock, especially over the rough shoreline found on so many lakes? That’s where dock installation wheels come in handy. These sturdy wheels, constructed from virgin low density polyethylene can carry up to 750 pounds of weight each. The 8” wide wheel can cross almost any terrain with ease.
Each dock wheel kit includes a set of wheels, plus spacer bearing sleeves to reduce the center hole down from the standard 1.900” I.D. for 1-1/2” pipe to except a 1-1/4” pipe axle ( 1-5/8” I.D. ).
