The T-979; "Triple wide, Trailer step" has a 6" x 30" step measurement which is three times wider then the T-975; "Single Step, Trailer Step". The step is made of Aluminum deck plate welded to 2 ea. 1" x 2" aluminum mounting tubes that extend front of step out 9-1/2" from outside of trailer frame. Step mounts to side trailer frame tube for easier boat access or the 21" of space BETWEEN mount tubes allow step to be mounted on side of trailer tongue to straddle winch post for aid in launching and landing boats. This model has an additional 1-1/4" sq. aluminum tube welded to the underside of step for added strength ( from mount tube to mount tube ). Includes fasteners to easily mount to trailer frames up to 3” wide x 4” high.
