  The auger looks substantial as shown. Very good. But the pin that was supplied is supposed to be use how? There is no hole in the auger to, I assume, secure it to the pipe.

  The pin is meant to be used like a large rivet. I don’t like this method of attachment, however, I have tried screwing into the auger through the pipe and it broke off and then I tried welding the auger to the pipe and I lost that one also. May try the rivet method but trying to drill hoe all the way through, straight, will be a challenge. It’s starting to get expensive as I have to keep buying these.

  Seller needs to inform potential buyers of the need to drill thru the augers and pipe in order for product to be used. The augers, IMO, should be pre-drilled.
